The Golden Spiral is pleasing to the eye. That’s why I chose it for my wallpaper. The Divine Proportion (a.k.a. Golden Ratio) is a term used to describe how elements within a piece of art can be placed in the most aesthetically pleasing way. It is a balance occurring in nature and design which is both appealing and functional. The actual number is 1.618… and this number goes on forever.
The events that got me here
I received my B.A. in Communications from Penn State Erie and started my journey. I did my internship and Chitester Creative Associates in McKean, PA. This is where I was introduced to web design.
I got my first professional job as a multimedia associate at LCBA. I also started my first freelance design company called DJR interactive.
I became the Multimedia Supervisor for LCBA. I got an assistant and added publication design as well as many other responsibilities.
I discovered the Content Management System (CMS) Joomla. After examining competitors I ultimately began development using Joomla.
I co-founded Pixel Point Creative and we began selling Joomla templates and extensions.
I left my position at LCBA to co-manage Pixel Point Creative full time.
I bought out my business partner and acquired 100% ownership of Pixel Point Creative and launched version 3 of the website.
Pixel Point Creative acquired EngageIT. EngageIT (formerly SurfErie) was a local ISP, hosting and technology company founded in 1999.
I sold Pixel Point Creatives’ hosting and design assets to weCreate LLC. Pixel Point Creative will now solely focus on Joomla template and extension development.
I founded Chalk Line Design and began doing construction and remodeling. I split my time doing freelance web development and construction.
Phase 3 Properties LLC was founded. At Phase 3 we love real estate. Whether it’s restoring an old home to its original glory or rehabbing an historic multi-unit building, we aim to provide quality housing with an emphasis on quality.

Here is a select sample of my work. I’ve included pieces from all throughout my career in a variety of formats.
Hey Buddy. Thanks for checking out my work. With over 20 years of experience, I have wore a lot of different hats. From 2009 till 2016, I built over 60 Joomla templates for my company, Pixel Point Creative. Most of these were built on Warp 7 by Yootheme. This framework was replaced with Yootheme Pro and most recently Yootheme retired all Warp 7 themes. I am doing the same but wanted to showcase a sample of my designs. Enjoy!
The images in this gallery are some I have collected from around the web. I did not create these. All images are copyrighted by their respective owners. They are shown here because I am fascinated by cinemagraphs and my website is here to not only provide information about me, but also to inspire others.
I’m not Lionel Richie. He is way cooler than me, but I am happy to chat with you.
